What We Do (2020–2024) is a selection from The What We Do Archive—an ongoing contemporary visual history of lived experience. Through portraits, observations of the city, and moments from travels, the book documents the people, places, and experiences of my immediate world over five years.

Shot on film, each image exists as a physical record made against the ephemerality of the life it documents. The work places vernacular, personal experience within the context of fine art as a reminder that meaning is already present in everyone's life.

In sharing this archive, the work asks what we choose to document, and what we allow to disappear.
